Glossop Heritage Trust
Patron: Edward William Fitzalan Howard, 18th Duke of Norfolk
Glossop Heritage Trust was incorporated on 6 September 1985 to promote the understanding of the heritage of Glossop and District. The Trust ran a Heritage Centre on Henry Street, Glossop until 2009. In 2013, it merged with Glossop and District Historical Society. You will find a more detailed history of the Trust on the Our History page.
The Trust holds an extensive archive of local artefacts, records, memorabilia and photos about the history of Glossop, which it safely stores for the future. It makes this material accessible through talks, events, articles and digitisation.
