There is a memorial to those who lost their lives in World War One and World War Two in St Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church, Hadfield.

The original Lady Altar, transferred by Canon Sabela to the other chapel on the south side of the sanctuary, was returned to its former position in 1940 in the new chapel built by Fr. Bermingham to honour those men of the parish who gave their lives in the Great War and in World War II. A plaque on the external wall beneath a narrow penthouse roof records their names.
